Our 2009 Toyota Tacoma is an attractive truck with conservative good looks and strong!!! Woo hoo! Today's small truck from Toyota offers a comfortable regular cab, with a nice bench seat (for up to 3 peeps), a refined ride, and quality construction. Its on-road handing is responsive, and its capabilities are proven. Compact pickups aren't what they once were. For one thing, they haven't been compact for years, they're midsize. Our Tacoma is equipped with AM/FM stereo, CD player, cloth upholstery and more! All of the latest-generation midsize pickups have decent interiors, but the quality of Toyota's interior materials seems just a little better. This 2.7-liter four-cylinder gets better mileage than the optional V6. It benefits from VVT-i and dohc, which means it's a modern, sophisticated engine. EPA estimates are 19/25 mpg. Gas prices being what they are and climbing, the capable engine paired with good fuel economy may be one of the most attractive combinations this truck offers. Great news with rising fuel costs!
